The sheer magnitude of a Total Eclipse drove ancient cultures to the brink of panic. On average for any one spot on the earth, total eclipses happen only once in 400 years. In April, this will happen in our own backyard.

Join the NOTL Museum and Dr. Pihack for an evening of information, explaining how to best
watch this event, and safely so.

Dr. Pihack has been presenting lectures for over two decades on Astronomy, Geology and Paleontology.
A former National representative to the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, who presented him with the Award of Merit Medal.  In 2021 during a conference in France, of the International Association of
Astronomers, a newly discovered asteroid was named in his honour.

Admission is free for Museum members or $10 for non-members.
Registration is required as space is limited.
Participants will recive a free pair of viewing glasses with their attendance.
