Ben is a native of Florida and relatively new to Niagara-on-the-Lake moving here nearly five years ago after marrying a local long-term resident. He retired as a Sr. Engineering Manager after 40 years in the Nanotechnology sector which gave him the opportunity to startup multiple large scale computer chip manufacturing facilities across the United States and abroad.
When Ben moved to Niagara-o-the-Lake he jumped into volunteering by offering time at the Cherry Festival at St. Mark’s in 2017-18, then Chaired the 2019 Festival. Prior to COVID he had planned a large community event for 2020.
He is a Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotarian serving on the International Committee and is currently overseeing two clean water, sanitation and health (WaSH) projects in Malawi, Africa.
Ben graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia.
