Nick has proven himself to be action-oriented, goal-driven and a skilled problem-solver with over 23 years of experience in the public sector. Currently, Nick serves as a Platoon Chief with Brampton Fire and Emergency Services. Prior to this role, he has held the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief positions with the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and was also a Firefighter with Toronto Fire Services.
A lifelong learner, Nick has completed a Master of Arts in Leadership through the University of Guelph, a Graduate Certificate from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in Community Preparedness and Disaster Management, and is a graduate of Ryerson University's Politics & Public Administration Program. Recently, Nick completed a certificate program in Diversity & Inclusion through Cornell University. Nick is also the recipient of the Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal, issued by the Governor General of Canada.
Nick currently serves as a Town Councillor for the 2022-2026 term of Council in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
